One More Step (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit one-more-step.org or use our services.

We collect information you choose to give us when you submit an equipment request:
- Your full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Delivery address
- Your prescribing physician’s name and contact information
- Any notes you include with your request
We do not collect financial information, Social Security numbers, insurance details, or other sensitive identifiers through our website. If you email us, we receive whatever you include in that email.
How we use your information
We use your information only to process your equipment request, specifically to:
- Review your request
- Contact your prescribing physician to confirm the equipment is medically appropriate
- Keep you updated on the status of your request
- Coordinate delivery, pickup, or shipping
How we protect your information
Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data sent between your browser and our servers. Request submissions are sent securely through our form processing provider and are available only to authorized One More Step team members who need them to handle your request.
Information sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information for marketing or commercial purposes. We share limited information only with:
- Your prescribing physician, solely to verify your request
- Our form processing provider (Formspree), which delivers your request to our team
- Shipping carriers, only your name and address, if your equipment is shipped
Cookies, analytics, and local storage
We do not use cookies for advertising. We may use Google Analytics to understand general site traffic, such as page views and which pages are most helpful; it may set cookies and collects information like your browser type and approximate location, but it never receives what you type into our request form. Our equipment page also saves a copy of the current inventory list in your browser so the page loads faster on return visits. This contains no personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
- Stop processing your information

Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or applicable laws change. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
